collection, having the groom propose with a wedding band “is a tradition that
never goes away.”
Getting engaged is an extraordinary moment in the lives of
any couple. Originally, the tradition of the giving of the ring did not have
such a sweet concept. The betrothal ring was given to symbolize ownership of
the future bride as a form of contract. This custom has greatly evolved
throughout the years to become the single moment that will interlace you with
your significant other with the promise of a future. As we all know, grooms
have sealed this promise for centuries with the giving of a ring; which now
symbolizes the eternity of his commitment towards his future bride.
There are many beautiful styles of rings. Unfortunately, in
most cases, the groom picks the ring himself; leaving no room for the bride’s input or taste. Is not like we can go around hinting and letting him know our
preferences like I’m left doing with my hubby during Christmas time… With luck, your guy was smart
